The 2018 Petite Sirah was harvested on October 16. The season afforded us great hang time as beautiful, consistent temperatures in the mid-upper 80s created wonderful ripening conditions through the final few weeks. Barrel aging took place for over 20-months in 33% new French barrels.
Medium deep purple/red color. This wine has an aromatic profile that focuses on classic varietal blueberry notes with a subtle toasty oak presence that adds depth to the nose. Fleshy and full bodied, the palate presence of this wine captures the attention of the taster with ripe fruit, balanced acidity, and a polished tannin structure that carries the finish.
