2021 Petite Sirah

$39.00

The 2021 vintage saw lower than normal winter/spring rains with totals only reaching  ~60% of normal.  In combination with late season heatwaves, the stressed vines produced a more concentrated fruit resulting in a complex wine.  The vintage was barreled in 33% new French barrels and aged for over 18-months.

Awards:
Gold, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
Gold, San Francisco International Wine Competition

Tasting Notes:  Inky deep purple/red color.  This wine has an aromatic profile that focuses on classic varietal blueberry notes and underlying aromas of black cherry.  There is a balanced toasty oak presence that adds depth to the aromatic profile.  Lush in the entry, the wine is fleshy and full bodied.  The palate presence is full of ripe fruit, balanced acidity, and a polished tannin structure that carries the finish quite well.

Price: $39/bottle or $468/case
