Winemaking Notes for Our Inaugural Vintage:
- Final Blend Percentage: Grenache - 38%, Syrah - 38%, Mourvèdre - 24%.
- For this first release, we did not use any new barrels in the aging process to allow these wines to fully express their own fruit characteristics without any oak influence.
Tasting Notes:
Medium deep red color with a garnet hue. The aromatic profile is a complex blend of ripe blackberry, cracked black pepper and subtle roasted nuts that continuously evolve in the glass. On the palate, this wine is vibrant, showing a medium body that reflects the integrated blend of the 3 varieties that make up this effort. Flavors of red and black fruits, anchored by a silky tannin structure leads to a finish that is long and persistent.
